Baking In Space - TODAY show on RTÉ One

November 2019

On November 13th 2019, as part of Science week 2019 activities, myself, Niamh Shaw & Romain Charles spoke with co-host Daithí O'Sé on RTÉ One's afternoon show, TODAY about our space science and baking event 'Baking in Space'. This event toured nationally in Dublin at Smock Alley Theatre, at the Galway Science Festival and at the Cork Science Festival.

In Autumn 2018 at a secluded chateau in France, Candice Brown, 2016 winner of The Great British Bake Off, got married. Cake In Space - YouTube collaboration with Nikki Lilly and StaRRship project

Working in collaboration with Nikki Lilly, Rolls-Royce and the RAF, I presented and developed this video. The idea was to come up with a cake recipe that is viable for orbit and to explain the challenges of baking in space to a young audience!

April 2017 - March 2018

This year I've been working with NI Pork and have filmed 12 recipes encouraging people to shop local and get into the kitchen. This is one of the recipe videos that was part of the social media campaign across facebook and instagram.

First Lego League MC at University of Cambridge

First Lego League i an international competition created to inspire students to develop their skills and pursue a career in STEM.  was the event host and MC for the day, commentating on matches, running the awards ceremonies and interviewing the competitors

Every year, Hallmark Care Homes has a Christmas wish competition for its residents. John, who delivers weekly cooking demonstrations to fellow residents at the home, requested to a have a baking lesson from a top chef last December. So I decided to pop in and surprise him!
